                     Medical Coding is the conversion of medical diagnosis, prescription, treatment received, equipment used of a patient by a healthcare professional or a doctor into universal accepted alphanumeric codes. These codes are later billed to insurance companies to claim insurance for payment purposes. This is called Medical billing.
